# How to set up the MediaScalers postback in AdsX

The postback is the link that tells AdsX about each MediaScalers sale. Once it is set up, every MediaScalers sale shows up in **My Sales** in AdsX, along with the ad that drove it. You set it up once for each MediaScalers account.

## 1. Copy the postback in AdsX

In the side menu, open **Advanced Tracking → Activate Platforms**. On the **MediaScalers** card, click **Copy postback**.

## 2. Open the MediaScalers postbacks

Log in to the [MediaScalers dashboard](https://admin.mediascalers.com/postbacks/add?type=conversion). In the MediaScalers dashboard, click **Postbacks** in the side menu.

## 3. Create a postback

On the **Conversões** (Conversions) tab, click **+ Postback**.

## 4. Fill in the postback

1. **Estado** (Status): Ativo (Active). An inactive postback does not report any sale.
2. **Tipo de postback** (Postback type): Conversão (Conversion).
3. **Nível de postback** (Postback level): Global.
4. **Método de entrega** (Delivery method): Postback.
5. **URL do postback** (Postback URL): paste the postback you copied in AdsX.
6. Click **Adicionar** (Add).

## 5. Activate MediaScalers in AdsX

Go back to AdsX and, on the **MediaScalers** card, click **Activate**. Without this click, MediaScalers is not active in AdsX.

The card now shows **Activated**, and MediaScalers appears as an option when you create a presell.

## How to know it worked

The next MediaScalers sale shows up in **Advanced Tracking → My Sales**. If it does not, check:

- that the postback is set to **Ativo**;
- that the link in **URL do postback** matches the one you copied in AdsX, complete and with no space at the end;
- that the presell product is from MediaScalers.
