# How to set up the GuruMedia postback in AdsX

The postback is the link that tells AdsX about every GuruMedia sale. With it set up, every GuruMedia sale shows up in **My Sales** in AdsX, along with the ad that drove it. You set it up once for each GuruMedia account.

## 1. Copy the postback in AdsX

In the side menu, open **Advanced Tracking → Activate Platforms**. On the **GuruMedia** card, click **Copy postback**.

## 2. Open the GuruMedia postbacks

Log in to the [GuruMedia dashboard](https://stats.gurumedia.com/postbacks/add?type=conversion). In the GuruMedia dashboard, click the menu icon in the top left corner.

In the menu, click **Postbacks**.

## 3. Create a postback

On the **Conversions** tab, click **+ Postback**.

## 4. Fill in the postback

1. **Status:** leave it on **Active**. An inactive postback reports no sales.
2. **Postback Type:** Conversion.
3. **Postback Level:** Global.
4. **Delivery Method:** choose **Postback**.
5. **Postback URL:** paste the postback you copied in AdsX.
6. Click **Add**.

## 5. Activate GuruMedia in AdsX

Go back to AdsX and, on the **GuruMedia** card, click **Activate**. Without this click, GuruMedia is not active in AdsX.

The card now shows **Activated**, and GuruMedia shows up as an option when you create a presell.

## How to know it worked

The next GuruMedia sale shows up in **Advanced Tracking → My Sales**. If it doesn't, check:

- whether the postback is set to **Active**;
- whether the link in **Postback URL** matches the one you copied in AdsX, complete and with no space at the end;
- whether the presell product is from GuruMedia.
