# How to set up the Awin postback in AdsX

The postback is the link that tells AdsX about every Awin sale. In Awin, it is called **Callback URL** and lives under **Transaction Notifications**. With it set up, every Awin sale shows up in **My Sales** in AdsX, along with the ad that drove it. You set it up once for each Awin account.

## 1. Copy the postback in AdsX

In the side menu, open **Advanced Tracking → Activate Platforms**. On the **Awin** card, click **Copy postback**.

## 2. Open the Awin sale notifications

Log in to the [Awin dashboard](https://ui.awin.com/awin/publisher/toolbox/transaction-notifications). In the top menu, open **Toolbox → Transaction Notifications**.

## 3. Fill in the notification

1. **Status:** leave it on **Enabled**. A disabled notification reports no sales.
2. **Callback URL:** paste the postback you copied in AdsX.
3. **Callback method:** GET.
4. **Product data:** check it.
5. **Click-source data:** check it.
6. Click **Save**.

## 4. Activate Awin in AdsX

Go back to AdsX and, on the **Awin** card, click **Activate**. Without this click, Awin is not active in AdsX.

The card now shows **Activated**, and Awin shows up as an option when you create a presell.

## How to know it worked

The next Awin sale shows up in **Advanced Tracking → My Sales**. If it doesn't, check:

- whether **Status** is set to **Enabled**;
- whether the link in **Callback URL** matches the one you copied in AdsX, complete and with no space at the end;
- whether the presell product is from Awin.
