# How to Fix the Most Common Campaign Errors in Google Ads (Quick Guide)

Adjustments inside the campaign are not part of AdsX support's scope — the campaign runs in your account, with your product and your decisions (details in the **"Support scope"** lesson in AdsAcademy). Even so, since the errors Google flags keep repeating, we put together this quick guide: it covers the vast majority of cases in a few minutes.

## Why these requests show up

Whenever a campaign is published, Google runs its own checks and, from time to time, requests an adjustment or sends a policy notice. This is completely normal and happens to every advertiser — the checks run directly in your account, because Google evaluates your business and your products.

## Step 1 — Open the flagged issues

Identify that there's an adjustment request and click "${color}[#f0ad60](See issues)".

## Step 2 — Read what Google flagged

You'll see every point that needs adjusting for the campaign to be approved. In the image below, Google Ads clearly states the problem is in one of the headlines:

## Step 3 — Locate and fix

Close the panel and look for the flagged text in your ad. Once you find it, you have two options:

1. Simply remove the text Google flagged
2. Replace it with a variation of your choice

## Step 4 — Save the ad

After removing or changing the text, click **"Save ad"**.

Done — now just wait for Google Ads to review it again.

## Another common error: "Not eligible — Campaign paused"

Here the notice itself gives you the reason: the campaign is paused. There's nothing to fix in the ad — just unpause the campaign and it will run again.

## Newly created campaign: "only eligible to show ads to a limited audience"

Right after publishing, while the campaign still has no impressions, the **Campaign diagnostics** panel marks the "Impressions" step with "Issues detected". It looks like an error, but it's just a new-campaign alert: it goes away on its own as soon as the first impressions come in. There's nothing to fix — just wait.

| If Google flags another issue, repeat the procedure until the campaign is approved. This will happen again along your advertising journey — it's normal, and now you know how to solve it.
