How to Edit a Presell

You can edit any published presell right in the AdsX visual editor: click what you want to change, adjust it and publish. No need to create the page again.

How to open the editor

1 — Open "My Pages"

In the side menu, click My Pages. The Presell Pages screen lists all your presells.

2 — Find the presell

Use the Search presell field to look it up by product name or by the page URL.

3 — Click the pencil

In the Actions column, click the pencil icon (Edit page) next to the presell. The editor opens with the page exactly as it is live.

How to use the editor

Some buttons in the editor toolbar are shown in Portuguese. Below, each one appears with its English meaning in parentheses.

Edit any element on the page

Click the text, image or block you want to change. It gets a green outline and the editing bar appears right above the page. For text, just type over it.

Depending on the selected element, the bar lets you:

• delete the element (trash icon);
• change the text color, the background color and the page Background;
• adjust the size with Size;
• for text, apply bold, italic and underline and change the font and font size;
• for images, shrink or enlarge, replace the image (PNG, JPG, WEBP or GIF) or replace it with a video (YouTube or Vimeo link, or an .mp4/.webm file). Made a mistake? Use the undo and redo arrows in the top-left corner.

Change the buy button link

Click Editar Links (Edit Links). AdsX lists every link found on the page, each with a field for the new link. Paste your checkout or affiliate link and click Salvar (Save).

Add Tags, Pixels or other scripts

Click Adicionar Script (Add Script) and paste the code in the right field:

• Header: for verification tags, Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager (most codes go here);
• Footer: for codes that ask to be placed at the end of the page.

Click Salvar (Save). To change or remove these codes later, open Adicionar Script again: what you pasted shows up there.

Publish

Click Save and publish. Within 1 minute the new version is live, at the same URL. Nothing changes in your ad: the link stays the same.

To leave without keeping anything, click Cancelar e sair (Cancel and exit).

Don't see the pencil on your presell? Some templates don't open in the visual editor. In that case, create the presell again on the same product, with the same URL (slug) as before, and click Generate: the new version replaces the old one within 1 minute. The same goes for changing or removing the script added when the presell was created.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add a video?

Videos are too heavy to be stored inside the page itself: the presell would take long to load and you would lose visitors. That's why the video lives on a streaming service, which delivers it fast, and the presell only shows the player. The easiest option is YouTube, which is free.

1. Upload the video to your YouTube channel. If you don't want it to show on your channel, set the visibility to Unlisted: only people with the link can watch it.
2. Copy the video link.
3. In the AdsX editor, click the image where the video should appear.
4. In the editing bar, click the play button (Replace with video) and paste the link.
5. Click Save and publish.

I edited more than I wanted and can't fix it. What do I do?

If you haven't published yet, click Cancelar e sair (Cancel and exit): none of the changes are kept.

If you already published, generate the presell again on the same product, using the same URL (slug). The presell goes back to its original version and you can start editing again.

Can I edit any presell?

Yes, as long as you keep in mind that what can be edited varies from template to template. The editor is made for small visual tweaks, like changing a text, an image or a link, not for building a whole new page.
